In December 2019, we led the organisation and development of a month-long light and illusion sculpture trail in the heart of Romford. Working with Havering Colleges students, local artists Bluerskies Creatives, local residents and The Mercury shopping centre team, we organised, collaborated and designed six interactive artworks, two of which still exist in the location.
Over three years, we developed Azerbaijan’s first dedicated web portal in the UK. Researched and written by young people in London, the project has also so far seen three research trips, an artist residency programme, an intercultural blogging programme, two launch events, an education programme and three art exhibitions.
Romford Architecture Week 2019 saw a week of educational activities for families, Havering Colleges and senior school students, on the themes of architecture, planning and the built environment. The programme reached over 3000 young people, by providing a variety of activities in a peer-learning and non-formal dynamic.
We can, and have, curated a number of exhibitions over our 10 years of existence, including in prestigious locations such as The Tate Britain and The Azerbaijan Embassy (London).
Display, archive and celebration of artistic creation is very important to the team.

Events are second nature to our projects and programmes.
We have experience in running a variety of cultural and international festivals in the UK and abroad, as well as smaller community happenings.
The NO Collective has a varied and reliable events team in London, including facepainters, photographers, creative education professionals and event hosts.
We can design and produce specific non-formal training schemes and workshops incorporating arts practice. We can also be commissioned to facilitate and assist in existing programmes. Examples of member-designed workshops include 'Masterplanners', ''NO' Confidence Building' and a 'Libraries Workshop Facilitation Programme'.
NO also teams up with project partners from across Europe to enable members to attend funded professional youth worker training sessions abroad.
Not all of our projects, performances and happenings will be showcased on our pages, but please have fun looking through some of our old snaps!
